The cost of stamps will increase from March 27th. Buy now to save!
Much like last year’s rise, Royal Mail & putting up the price of stamps once again. First & second class stamps will increase by a penny to 65p & 56p respectively.
First class large letter stamps will see the biggest increase as they jump 2p to 98p whilst second class large letter stamps will be 76p (a 1p rise).
Royal Mail has confirmed that stamps which read ‘1st’ or ‘2nd’ on them instead of a price remain valid after Monday 27th March. Now is a good time to stock up and save some pennies.
If you’re an eBayer, have your own online business or regularly send mail through the post, you could save yourself a good wedge of cash by purchasing stamps now to use throughout the rest of the year.
Don’t forget, if you’re sending larger packets or parcels, Royal Mail aren’t always the cheapest. Shop around!
