Birthday Freebies

Everyone loves a freebie & it seems companies love giving them out for your birthday. Here are a few of my favourites that I’ve spotted or been sent…

‘Greggs Rewards’ via the Greggs app gives you a freebie on your birthday worth about £1. Your own little birthday cake, or muffin, or doughnut!

Register a ‘La Famillia’ loyalty card from Barburrito & get a voucher for a free burrito sent around your birthday. The item is worth around £6.50 and you can claim at participating restaurants. Can’t beat a bit of Mexican street food on your birthday! More on their website.

Paperchase give you £5 to spend on your birthday, once you’ve signed up to their loyalty card. The ‘Treat Me’ card birthday bonus can be used up to 14 days after your birthday and there is no minimum spend. You can redeem in-store and online. There’s always great things in Paperchase and when they have a sale on it’s usually really good. I love Paperchase!

More cake! Join Patisserie Valerie’s Cake Club & not only will they give you a special birthday treat, you’ll also receive a 10% discount on your next visit. Ideal if you regularly visit & have never signed up! My wife loves this place, great cakes!

Loads of restaurant chains will send you a special offer or voucher to use on your birthday. It’s their way of trying to lure you to their establishment with the offer of a free glass of Prosecco for the birthday boy/girl. If you’re going out to celebrate your birthday with loved ones, you might as well take advantage of one of these. Just sign up to their mailing lists and you’ll probably receive something in your inbox a week or so before your birthday!

It never hurts to drop the ‘birthday’ bomb if you’re out & about. Sometimes you get lucky!

Whenever your birthday falls throughout the year, Happy Birthday!
