Sorry about the title but we shouldn’t be scared about talking about death.
Recently, Martin Lewis, on his ITV show, covered the subject of death and money. Everything about life insurance and making sure your kids are provided for if the worst was to happen to you whilst they were still young.
I had loads of retweets when I got involved on the subject over on Twitter. We’re all going to die but we can prepare for it.
If you don’t have life insurance, it’s worth looking into.
If you have life insurance already, check it. Make sure you know what you’re covered for and maybe even look at other policies, you might be able to get something more affordable.
Have you considered a funeral plan? It takes financial pressure away from family when they are already having to deal with grief.
If you’re not sure on insurance, why not put a set amount away every month?
If you work for a company, do they have a death in service payout?
Simply, know where you stand, or where you’re dependents will stand if you were to die tomorrow. Death is part of life and whilst we don’t know when we’ll pass, we can prepare for it.
