The cost of travel seems to be ever-increasing. I’m so glad I don’t commute via train any more.
The journey wasn’t too bad and nothing compared to those in and around London who have to deal with over packed trains. But sometimes trains would be delayed or cancelled. I never once claimed. What an idiot!
We should, as a nation, claim on these delays & cancellations. There are loads of free tools & information online to show you how to do it but the point of this post is to tell you to do it, if you’ve never really thought about it.
We shouldn’t be prepared to just stand on the platform waiting for the next train, or at the airport trying to figure out if we’ll make our connecting flight or not. These big businesses offer a service and if that service drops below a certain point, you, as a customer, can claim. Make sure you do.
