The Best Cashback App

With so many cashback apps available these days, it can be hard to keep up. Hard to have enough space on your phone too! So, what’s the best cashback app and why? In this post we’re going to take a look at some of the contenders.

What Is A Cashback App?

Let’s first cut through the meat of it all and see what a cashback app actually is. To to uninitiated, you can earn cashback by buying certain items or perhaps by imply scanning your receipt. Often after the cashback you can earn freebies and save up a bit of cash for a rainy day.

Shopmium

Like many of the cashback apps, you buy a specific item and you’ll a certain amount returned to you as cashback. You’ll find brands you know and love as well as new products to try. Whilst so many cashback apps require you to hit a minimum amount in your account in order to withdraw, Shopmium does not!

Sign up using code KFMKKEFK and you’ll receive a great 100% cashback offer for something delicious. This changes occasionally but has previously included a jar of Nutella & some tasty Ben & Jerrys ice cream!

Quidco & ClickSnap

I’ve written about Quidco before and you can use their app to use your account on your phone. Clicksnap is their separate cashback app for shopping. Simply download the app, explore the offers, purchase whatever takes your fancy and after you scan the receipt, the cashback will be paid into your Quidco account. Join Quidco today and receive a £15 bonus when you shop with any retailer.

CheckoutSmart

CheckoutSmart is the same as Clicksnap, in fact it’s owned by the same people. This means when they have the same offers, which they tend to, you can’t use the same receipt on both. In order to claim offers from both you’d have to buy items, on separate receipts. CheckoutSmart tend to have a couple of extra offers on there, and more freebies too! You will get charged 5% of what you withdraw if it’s less than £20. £20+ is free. I have withdrawn £241.77 cashback on CheckoutSmart since I joined!

GreenJinn

Another shopping cashback app is GreenJinn. This is one of my favourites and their offers change every Monday. Branded goods and new products a plenty, and the weekly offers tend to cover a range of different departments. From food, drink, health, beauty, baby and pet too! Not all supermarkets are on the app yet but if you shop at Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco and Iceland it’s worth downloading. Boots, Morrisons, Asda, Ocado and Whole Foods have also recently joined.

ZipZero

Scan any receipt and get 1% cashback to pay towards your bills with Zip Zero. This is a great way of bringing down your bills without really doing anything. Since I started using the cashback app I’ve put £10 towards our council tax bill followed by another £20. Every little helps! You’ll never say no to receiving a receipt again!

Airtime Rewards

Similar to ZipZero in terms of being able to pay of your bills, Airtime Rewards gives you a percentage of what you spend at certain retailers to pay your phone bill. You need to connect your credit or debit card first and then it’ll work automatically when you spend at retailers. There’s not many on there yet but Argos and Sign up with code CNL4KN6G and you’ll get 50p when you join and an extra £1 if you spend within 7 days.

New cashback apps will be added in the near future so be sure to check back soon.
