Send A Little Happiness

This is a paid collaboration.

In this time of lockdown, it’s more important than ever to stay connected. We’re apart, but we’re all in this together and are definitely not at all alone. One of the ways to let people know that you’re thinking of them and that you love them is to send them a little something. There are great ways to do this. Let’s run through a few ideas.

Send Some Love

Rather than a WhatsApp message or a Facebook post, it’s more nostalgic and romantic to send a handwritten note to a loved one. It seems more personal, like more effort has been put in. The mail service is still running which is amazing and I’m so thankful for the postal workers. Post dropping through the letter box is so often a bill or some junk mail these days, so receiving an envelope worth opening is a rarity. It’s special. Make it even more special by using some graphic design skills. Alongside your beautiful handwritten scrawls, use online websites to perhaps brand your letter, or send a little gift.

Get Creative

There is a monogram designer website that is beyond awesome and could be right up your street. It’s so easy to use, has great fonts, frames and backgrounds, allowing you to put together something unique. Even if you have no graphic design skills, it’s simple to navigate and easy to produce something impressive. You could create a craft with fun designs, be quirky with fonts and backgrounds. Maybe there’s a style of filter you find on the website which you know would suit someone you know down to the ground? Type your monogram initials, select your font and a frame. You can upload a background of your choice should you wish and editing layers is so easy. You can change the colour too if you know someone loves purple, but I think black and white is classy and perfect sitting at the top of a letter, for example. Then, when you’re finished, simply export it to use however you wish.

Future Wedding Dates

If you’ve recently got engaged and are unsure about planning your wedding at the moment, you could get creative and send some designed items out to friends and family. Break your amazing news with a letter and make something which you can use on your future wedding invitations. They’ll know exactly what it is when it arrives on their doormat. A wedding monogram could be a great addition to your table plan and thank you cards too. Use the name you’ll be using as a couple and make something which can be used throughout your big day and maybe even afterwards into your married life! Maybe even on your driveway gates at the front of your marital home? Happy news is well received right now!

Just A Little Something

Use your imagination and think about what you’d like to receive and what would put a smile on your face. Keeping in contact can mean the world to people. Something out of the ordinary for this out of the ordinary time we’re living in. Maybe people you know are isolating alone or have even been in hospital and have recovered. Send someone you know a lovely gesture to brighten their day. Stay safe and send a little happiness.
