For Your Parents
It’s always a tricky one, buying Christmas gifts for your parents. Aside from the obvious framed photos of the grandkids, what else do they really need? A bottle or two of some incredible independent wine is the perfect idea. This will give them something to enjoy together. Take a look at these fabulous red wines with one of the standouts being the Demarie Barolo DOCG 2015. If you have something to celebrate, some sparkling wine is a great option as a Christmas gift!
For Your Friends
We all have friends who we enjoy sharing a drink with. Maybe we’ve been missing out on that a lot recently? How about gifting your friends a couple of bottles of wine and then for New Year’s Eve, having a wine and cheese evening via Zoom? With less of us wanting to go out or unable to venture too far right now, if you all have the same wines to enjoy over the internet, you can welcome in the New Year together!

For The Christmas Dinner Table
How about something exceptional for the Christmas dinner table this year? Red wine is perfect for your Christmas roast but a full bodied Chardonnay is ideal for turkey. This is the pinnacle of roast dinners so the drink you have alongside it has to be something special. Treat everyone around the table with a beautiful bottle this Christmas.
Send Through The Post?
Is it possible to send wine through the post? Well, yes it is! If you’re sending just one bottle you are likely to get a good price from Royal Mail. You need to ensure it’s properly packaged up and protected before you take it to the Post Office though. Consider bubble wrap or proper glass bottle packaging. Alternatively or if you’re sending more than one bottle, choose a decent courier to send your wine from one address to another. No one wants spillages or broken bottles though so make sure it’s always well protected.
Christmas might be a little bit different this year but it doesn’t mean you cant treat yourself and the ones that you love. Whether its for a present, for the sit down family meal or for another point during the Christmas season, be sure to grab the most amazing wine you can get your hands on. With a selection of award winning wine, everybody will be more than happy, as will their taste buds. Give the gift of some extra special wine and you’ll be sure of a very Merry Christmas!
