Combine Cashback Offers With Instore Discounts

There are so many incredible cashback opportunities out there. You might think that one of these will save you money, but what if you could combine cashback offers with in-store discounts to save even more? Now is the time to find the best price for your supermarket shopping and combining instore price drops with cashback opportunities is a great way to top up your cupboards for less.

Cashback Apps

I’m talking about cashback apps such as Shopmium, Clicksnap & CheckoutSmart. GreenJinn is also a great one as it updates with new offers every Monday. You can find amazing products n there, from brands you have heard of and some that will be new to you. From cold drinks to pet food, you’ll find something from every department on there, all with money off. When the product is already on discount in the shop, you can lower it even further by claiming this cashback. It’s worth saying here that after cashback, sometimes the products are free! If it’s completely free & we won’t use it, I usually buy & drop into a foodbank donation point if appropriate.

f you sign up to Shopmium, use code KFMKKEFK and you’ll receive a great 100% cashback offer for something delicious. The item changes occasionally but has previously been a jar of Nutella & some tasty Ben & Jerrys ice cream!

What Supermarkets Are On Cashback Apps?

Most of the major supermarkets are on each of the cashback apps mentioned. That includes Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys. On some apps you’ll also find budget stores such as B&M and high street retailers such as Boots. It’s worth checking the app individually and when you see a product you like, you’ll be able to see where you need to purchase it from in order to claim the cashback.

How Do You Claim The Cashback?

The basic idea is that you buy the advertised product and then when you’ve left the store, you take a photograph of the receipt and upload it via the app. Different apps operate differently but you need to ensure you grab a receipt for your shopping.

Double Discount Example

I purchased some Bonne Maman jam. We needed jam, my wife loves jam on toast and we didn’t have any in the fridge. There was 50p cashback on one of the apps but already discounted from £2.50 to £1.50 in-store. So that’s VERY good jam for £1, cheaper than some of the naff stuff.

I also got a free Lloyd Grossman Risotto Kit, completely FREE! A FREE yoghurt which should have been £1 and saved 60p on some Pukka Tea Bags which were already discounted down to £2. The best discount was on Dececco Pasta. Already half price (77p) but 50p cashback. Cheaper than the value brand.

Combine Cashback Conclusion

Some people think it takes too much time to use cashback apps but the rewards are awesome. I’ve earned over £300 on some of these apps and managed to stock our cupboards and donate to foodbank for less. If you spend a bit of time & put a little bit of effort in, you can discover great bargains and combine cashback offers with instore deals.
