Halfords do a free car check at their 700+ locations which they say is worth £15.
It is free, you’re not obliged to buy anything although they might try and sell you things.
You don’t need to book in advance, simply turn up and it takes around 15 minutes.
They’ll check your battery, bulbs, wipers and windscreen for chips. They’ll also check oil levels and top up your screenwash for free.
Worth doing if you’re passing a Halfords this season.
