We don’t do Halloween in our household. It’s just not for us but I’m not bothered if people do. Each to their own.
What I do want to say is be aware of the doors you are knocking on this Halloween. Not everyone wants to answer the door, not everyone wants to be involved in fright night.
If you are trick or treating, head to those houses who clearly are celebrating, the ones with decorations out. Perhaps bypass the ones with no ghoulish happenings going on. Some people might have print outs stuck to their doors saying not to knock, be sure to respect this.
Mental health has been talked about more than ever this year and having random people in masks appear at your door can play havoc with people’s anxiety.
Above all, be sensible & be safe.
