If you are anything like me, you enjoyed House Of The Dragon more than you thought you would. Following an absolute epic like Game Of Thrones is no easy task, but House Of The Dragon certainly pulled it off. Sure, the massive time jump confused me for a few minutes but by the end of episode 10, I was wondering when we’re going to get more dragon screentime with House Of The Dragon Season 2. Let’s have a look at everything we know so far.

What Is House Of The Dragon?
House Of The Dragon is a prequel to the hugely successful global phenomenon that was Game Of Thrones. It’s a return to Westeros. Fire, blood, Targaryens and dragons! We see the story before the story. The ancestors who paved to way for the characters we fell in love with. At the same time, we have goodies and baddies that we love and love to hate. The story didn’t begin with Game Of Thrones, there is a lot that happened before all of that. House Of The Dragon opens up the world we love and introduces other characters we had heard mentioned before. I wasn’t sure it would live up to those early seasons of GoT, but it really did. Great actors and actresses, awesome characters, and amazing battles! We’ve been spoilt!
How Can You Watch In The UK?
House Of The Dragon airs on Sky Atlantic here in the United Kingdom. This means you need to have Sky to watch the show or have an Entertainment pass for NOW. This is probably the most affordable way to watch the show as the Entertainment pass costs £9.99 a month, however, you can usually get a decent deal, especially if you are a new customer. You could recently get 3 months of access for £15, so £5 a month. That will give you plenty of time to watch the 10-episode series, along with other content available that is on there.

When Will House Of The Dragon Season 2 Air?
At the end of every season, we want more. The end of the series was brilliant and, whilst staying spoiler free, makes you want to see what happens next. House Of The Dragon Season 2 has been commissioned and should be with us in 2024. It hasn’t yet started filming but is due to begin in the spring/summer of 2023. That gives the production team plenty of time to get it out for us fans in 2024.
Until then, I’ll probably be rewatching the first season and picking up on anything that I missed throughout the series. The performances of the actors like Paddy Considine and Matt Smith have been amazing. I can’t wait until House Of The Dragon Season 2!
