How To Use Your Annual Leave With Bank Holidays
There is a knack for getting more from your time off. If you book a random Wednesday and Thursday off work, chances are you’re going to just have two days and then be back in the office. The trick is to combine your annual leave with Bank Holidays to enjoy more time off work.
Did you know that by taking just eight days of your annual leave, you can enjoy a full 16 days off work. By combing your annual leave with the Bank Holidays you can have more than a month off of work. What will you do with all that time? Just book March 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th off, along with April 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. When this is combined with the Bank Holidays, you’ll leave work on the 22nd and return on 8th April. There are other ways to create long amounts of time off work with the ultimate tag team of annual leave and Bank Holidays 2024. Book the Tuesday-Friday off work after the May Bank Holidays and you can enjoy nine days off. There are also opportunities to enjoy the festive season for longer by booking 23rd, 24th, 27th, 30th and 31st off work. This will give you 12 days off when you only book five! Finally, you could add the 2nd & 3rd of January and you’ll use seven days to bag 16 days off work! Utterly perfect!
