Loyalty Means Nothing

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, loyalty means nothing.

Research from Citizens Advice says loyal broadband customers are hit by big price rises once fixed deals end.

This is true!

They reel you in with a great deal and then hope you don’t bother changing or switching elsewhere when the cheap deal ends and the prices jump. The research said it can jump by as much as 67%! That’s a lot of extra money you’re paying just because your initial contract has come to an end.

I’ve posted previously about the reasons why I finally left Sky and also about Spring cleaning your bills. Remember, if you can, play the game, take advantage of new deals, stay on them for the 12 or 18 month contract and then leave for a better one. Make sure to click through to their websites via cashback apps as often you’ll receive up to or more than £100 in cashback, which in reality, lowers the monthly price of your bill. Compare the new deals out there, call your current company and say you’re planning on leaving as you’ve found a better deal elsewhere, they might offer you the same, you never know!

We get far too comfortable with the service we’re happy with, but the service often never changes when we move. There is no loyalty from these companies towards customers, so don’t show any back. Switch, switch and switch again because YOU need to have the right deal for YOU!
