When Is The Summer Solstice 2025?

The weather is getting better! The nights are getting lighter, and we’re all seemingly in a slightly improved mood because of it. Let’s take a look at when the Summer Solstice 2025 is.

What Is The Summer Solstice?

The summer solstice is an astronomical event that marks the longest day (& hence the shortest night) of the year. This also signifies the start of summer for the Northern Hemisphere. It is when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky. It’s all due to the poles of the Earth and how the planet tilts towards the sun. If you are waiting for summer, this is when it begins! Although it is the longest day, it almost means it is the start of days drawing in and nights getting darker. A slight curse to the gift!
