In our family we love dinosaurs. I’m, not sure whether it’s because we have three young kids or that dinosaurs are just cool. We taken part in Dinovember ever year where dinosaurs come to life every night and trash the house. A little bit like Elf On The Shelf, but without that little annoying festive fool. With dinosaurs on the brain, I know that there will be some little girls and boys (and perhaps parents!) who would love to receive some Christmas dinosaurs this year. Let’s have a look at what Santa could consider bringing them.

Something To Read
Firstly, if you’re anything like us, we love giving our kids books at Christmas. It’s investing in their education and development, even if it’s something we wouldn’t particularly read ourselves. There are books they can follow the pictures of, that they can read themselves or that we can read to them at bedtime, depending on their ages. If you love Christmas dinosaurs, you can find some in books! The most popular dinosaur author is probably Tom Fletcher from Mcfly fame. He created The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas with bandmate Dougie and then went on to write The Christmasaurus & subsequent books.
Christmas Decorations
Secondly, every Christmas tree needs a dinosaur bauble, right? Before they became readily available I even created our own, with store bought plastic dinosaurs, some string, hooks and glitter. It worked! However it’s much easier to buy one now. There are so many awesome ones available at garden centres and Christmas shops, however check out this Sass & Belle Dinosaur and Santa bauble, or this Gisela Graham set of four! Don’t forget to add some Christmas dinosaur fairy lights which are ideal for kid’s bedrooms! This year we even added a Christmas dinosaur inflatable to our front lawn.
Roarsome Pyjamas
Many of us get our children new PJs and pop them in the Christmas Eve box. Why not embrace some Christmas dinosaurs this year and buy your little ones some Jurassic style nightwear? There are so many different types, styles and designs. For kids of all ages! These are some of our favourites. No, wait, these are actually! Told you, too many designs!

Other Gifts Of Christmas Dinosaurs
There are lots of potential gifts involving Christmas dinosaurs. These include dinosaur jigsaws from the fantastic Orchard Toys and STEM toys which revolve around T-Rex and co. How about a dinosaur torch and projector from the Natural History Museum or a cute and cuddly dinosaur toy that your little ones can squeeze as they fall asleep?
How about treating them to some dinosaur films that you can watch as a family this festive season? The Good Dinosaur is actually quite a good film, even though it’s one of the top five Pixar flops. Then there’s the Jurassic Park trilogy and the new films from Jurassic World. The Ice Age franchise has a dinosaur film called Dawn Of The Dinosaurs and everyone needs to see The Land Before Time. These are perfect films to enjoy on the dark nights of winter if you are loving Christmas dinosaurs.
In conclusion, there are lots of festive gifts out there which are perfect for those who love Christmas dinosaurs. Have a fantastic Christmas with your Iguanodons!
