My work life has a number of arms to it. As well as this money blog I run a marketing management service, an eCommerce site and a photography YouTube channel. I previously ran a wedding videography business too. Making things easier when you’re ultra busy is paramount but finding ways to actually make it easier whilst maintaining a professional look is hard. Helping people to see what your business offers can be done with a simple mock up or two. Let’s take a look at how you can do this for little to no money.
A Photographers Dream
Being a photographer, I love to create unique images whilst filming behind the scenes videos showing just where I travel to and how I capture the pictures. Showing these photographs in an attractive manner, so the viewer can see the image on the wall, in a frame is key. By using a frame mock up as you can see below, I can import my own photograph and set it into the mocked up frame. With beautiful detail included such as pot plants and home decor, this helps the potential buyer to see how the purchase would perhaps look hanging on the wall of their own home. This is one of my favourite mock ups for sure.
Creative Campervans
We bought a campervan last year and have had some amazing trips in it already. Making memories is awesome and I had a couple of fantastic photography trips to Scotland and Wales with friends, in amazing winter weather which will stay with me forever. We wanted give it a name but when you name a vehicle, you’ve got to have a sticker so other people can see what the motor is called. This is where a rear window car photo mock up can be useful. You can see just how your desired name and possibly a symbol would look on the back of a vehicle.
Terrific T-Shirts
Some of most profitable start ups are t shirt businesses. If you get in early on a popular saying or a phrase your t-shirts can start flying off the shelves. Similarly, bands, charity groups and individuals can create t-shirts as a side hustle to their day to day work. You can’t always get the right weather or photography situation to capture your t-shirts in an attractive way to put on your website to sell. This is where a mock up of someone wearing a t-shirt is ideal because it helps you sell. Simply download to your computer and put your own design on the t-shirt. I love having motivation quotes in my office and I’m sure there are other people and corporations who do too. They can really pick you up on a bad day and are always a talking point when people visit. We previously started a quote print business but discovered that finding mock ups of people holding posters was hard.
