You don’t only have to wear your electric gilet at home. You could wear it out and about during cold weather to stay warm. Cold walks with the dog in the park are suddenly a little more bearable as you have heat directly warming up your torso. There are other wearable technology products that will keep you warm as well. Take a look at heated gloves that charge via USB or heated insoles to keep your feet warm.
It’s not a solution by any means however people are in desperate need to stay warm. If you are considering switching off your central heating, or have already done so and need something else apart from extra blankets, consider an electric gilet to keep you warm.
