Festivals are a fantastic way to spend your summer and make incredible memories. If you’ve been to a festival before, you generally remember it well, even if you had a few too many drinks. The bands you see stay with you forever, those fantastic performances from your idols. We remember who we were with, the food we cooked or bought, the bright lights, and the random strangers we befriended. The Popular Ones
Glastonbury
We start our list of 2023 festivals with one of the most popular. Glastonbury Festival is on the last weekend in June, from its legendary location at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset. For 2023, Glastonbury will take place from Wednesday 21st until Sunday 25th June. Gastobury sells out extremely quickly, can you grab tickets?
Reading & Leeds
Leeds Festival was my first festival experience and I got to see an incredible lineup of artists. The festivals always take place on August Bank Holiday weekend, which for 2023 will be 25th – 27th August. The festival usually sells out months ahead of schedule and has the same acts at both sites, on different days
Creamfields
Creamfields also takes place on August Bank Holiday weekend and is one of the biggest and best dance festivals. You can throw shapes and make awesome memories at both Creamfields North & Creamfields South.
Isle Of Wight
The Isle Of Wight Festival takes place from 15th to 18th June 2023. In 2022, Lewis Capaldi, Kasabian, Muse and even Madness entertained the crowds. The 2023 could be bigger and better than ever at Seaclose Park, Newport.
Something Smaller
Deershed
How about something a little less obvious for your 2023 festivals? 2023 will be the 13th year Deershed Festival has returned to Baldersby Park in Topcliffe near Thirsk. Music, comedy, theatre, spoken word and plenty for the kids! It’s a fantastic family festival taking place 28th to 31st July 2023.
Lytham Festival
What was once a one-night-only community Proms-style concert has grown to become a fantastic five-day music event! The 2022 event was doubled to ten days with the likes of Diana Ross, Snow Patrol, Duran Duran, Simply Red and Elbow entertaining 200k people! Lytham Festival 2023 will take place from Wednesday June 28th to Sunday July 2nd.
Boardmasters
The exact dates are to be confirmed but it looks like Boardmasters 2023 will take place from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th August 2023. Enjoy one of the best festivals in the UK, right on the Cornish coast.
Y Not?
Last on our list of the best 2023 festivals is Y Not? Festival. It returns to Pikehall in Derbyshire from 28th to 30th July 2023. both Manic Street Preachers & Stereophonics played the Friday night main stage in 2022. The lineup for 2023 is going to be awesome!
