You may have heard of the Ask For Henry campaign before. It was run in both 2022 and 2023. Morrisons has teamed up with different brands (see below) to help with the cost of living crisis and give people some freebies. All you have to do is go to the till and Ask For Henry and you’ll be served a free meal. There is no stigma here so please do not be embarrassed asking. The staff are trained on the word Henry, so even if you get the phrase slightly wrong, you’ll still be able to access this freebie. A freebie which could be a lifesaver for many people struggling right now. The campaign runs from 1st July until 14th July 2024.
What Is The Free Meal?
The free Ask For Henry meal this year is a jacket potato with Heinz cheesy beanz. This will be served to you in all 400+ Morrisons cafes up and down the UK between 1st July and 14th July 2024. All you have to do is Ask For Henry and you (and your family if you ask for more than one meal) can enjoy a free bite to eat together. During this time of hardship for many people, a free hot meal could be the difference between eating that day or going to bed hungry. Again, there is no shame in asking for this free meal.
The Brands Involved
Morrisons has teamed up with Heinz once again for this Ask For Henry campaign. The cheesy part of the Cheesy Beanz is from Cathedral City. The previous Ask For Henry campaigns have helped to feed tens of thousands of people. Making a real difference on the ground where hunger is real.
Other Promotions
Along with the Ask For Henry campaign, Morrisons are also running various other promotions. The Kids Eat Free promotion is still active. If an adult buys a meal costing £5 or more, a child can eat for free.
As part of their 125 year celebrations, customers buying a hot drink (these are now refillable!) can also get a free doughnut. Something sweet to keep you going during the day.
