There’s nothing quite like a festival during the sunshine-filled summer months. A pint of cider in hand, great music to dance to, relaxing into the evening with loved one, making memories.
What even top-trumps all of that is if the festival is free!
There are loads of free festivals up and down the country. Here are a few standouts.
Feeder headline the Feel Good Festival in Rochdale this August. Ronan Keating tops the bill at Godiva in the West Midlands. There are loads of food, folk, jazz & other events to enjoy too.
If none of these takes your fancy, you can always volunteer at festivals. In return for a couple of shifts stewarding, wristbanding or litter picking at the likes of Leeds & Reading, you can get a free ticket. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the weekend when you’re not ‘working’.
