As the war on plastic continues, plastic straws might soon be banned, so it’s worth looking at alternatives.
Generally, the cheapest place for these alternatives seems to be Amazon.
These watermelon design paper straws are the cheapest, at 87p for a pack of 25. They have other designs at 90p a pack if watermelons aren’t your thing. Of course, these aren’t going to last so you might want to invest in something which will last.
Stainless steel metal straws with cleaning brushes are built to last and work out at less than 50p each. Bamboo straws & glass straws (although glass spells trouble to me!) are also available.
You could easily invest in some reusable plastic straws which retail at around 14p each.
