Society is growing more environmentally conscious with every passing year. There’s no doubt that humanity’s rapid growth has had and continues to have a serious impact on the planet and its resources. - Plant some trees – teach them all about trees and why we need them. Join a charity tree planting outing or even organise your own.
- Learn about bees – bees are of course vital to humanity and children usually embrace this idea readily. Show them the sort of plants and flowers which bees need to survive and then plant a wildflower patch.
Living in an environmentally conscious way
Adjusting your own lifestyle is the best way to teach your child about the environment. Show them you’re serious by avoiding single-use plastics, buying local produce and re-using packaging where possible.
Your child will continue these habits on into their own adult life and that can only be a good thing when it comes to protecting our planet.
