Some folk say to leave your heating on all day, others say to use it as and when you need to. As we are in the chills of winter, which is the best way to heat your house?
Apparently the most efficient (for the heating & your wallet!) is to use it at times you need it. If you work out of the house, this is ideal as the house can be at a lower temperature during the day and you can turn it up when yo get home. Even better, use a timer to get it cranked up for when you get in.
Before turning up the thermostat though, make sure you have a thick pair of socks on, a jumper & perhaps even a dressing gown, then you won’t need to turn it up quite as much, hence saving cash & energy!
