How many years has it been since they started charging us for plastic bags? Years! So why is it still such a problem for us to take our own bags with us?
I got an email the other day saying Tesco are now scrapping all their plastic bags in their click and collect/home delivery (apart from where necessary for hygiene) and Iceland have announced they’re trialling paper bags in one of their stores, at a cost.
It’s simple, just take bags with you. Save yourself a few pence, stop corporations making plastic bags which are not good for anyone and inspire the next generation, the one it’s really going to affect, to do the same.
