Smartprice will be Just Essentials By Asda and this offer a larger value range to customers. This has been mplemented to help as we all face this cost of living crisis.
How Many Products?
It is being reported that the Just Essentials By Asda range will include 300 products. That is around double what is currently available with the Smartprice range. It is expected to arrive in stores in May and replace the current low priced range over the summer months. This will certainly help when the October price cap rise happens in Autumn.

Asda was taken over by the Issa brothers last year in a £6.8billion deal and they are hoping to focus efforts on helping customers during this expensive time we find ourselves in.
One of the brothers, Mohsin Issa, has said: “We understand that customers are increasingly worried about the cost of living and want help to keep their grocery bills in check, whilst still being able to buy healthy and nutritious food for their families. My Experience With Asda Smartprice
We often buy from the Smartprice range. A 500g of pasta is 29p and when you have three hungry kids to feed, this is a good price. Pasta is pasta at the end of the day so why pay £1 a bag? We use the tins of chopped tomatoes in our pasta sauces and take a can of new potatoes when we go camping. The wrapping foil is ideal and only 65p for 20m. 825g of Mature White Cheddar is £3.65 which is a good price for so much cheese. The cookies are good too and the 12 pack of assorted maize snacks are well price and really tasty. For breakfasts, 1kg of Muesli for £1.20 will set you up for the day. I hope the Just Essentials By Asda incorporates the same items and and incorporates plenty of other good products.
