Download My Free Family Meal Planner

We’ve been using a family meal planner to make life easier. When we do our weekly online food order, we work through what we’ll be eating for the next seven days and only order what we need. This is helped keep our supermarket costs down, especially since we moved to shopping from Aldi to shopping at Asda so we can get online food deliveries during lockdown.

We’re Still Ordering Online

We’ve continued doing this to avoid going to the shops during this strange time we’re all living in. However, we’re probably spending about as much now as we were at Aldi pre-lockdown. This is because of the family meal planner we’ve started using. I know we’d likely spend less if we went to a budget supermarket. However, we’re keeping our costs low and our healthy food intake high. Of course, we’re happy to have the occasional treat too. By buying ingredients for meals we know we’re all going to eat all getting involved in the process too. From helping with the online ordering, to setting to table, to chopping, grating and stirring the ingredients. It’s a family thing, which is why I created my family meal planned.

Download My Family Meal Planner

My family meal planner has been so great in our household, I decided to make it available for you to download and use, for free. There is absolutely no charge at all and I hope it helps you to organise your weekly meals. My hope it that, just like for us, you’ll be able to plan exactly what you need and make your food go further. You can download it once and then simply print it to fill in each week.

Stick It Up

I’ve found that sticking it to the inside of one of the kitchen cupboards has been ideal. Every morning we can check what we need to get out the freezer, or plan to cook for tea. It’s something to look forward to. We can also figure out what we are having for breakfast (pancakes Saturdays!) and who needs what for lunch times. There is even a space for you to jot down anything you’re running low on and a box for notes too. Let me know what you think about it and how you get along working with your free family meal planner, over on Twitter.

Please download the family meal planner and share it with your friends and family too.
