If we look at a power shower using gas heated stored water with a high flow rate, a 10 minute shower would be about 25p. So for 30 minutes a day you are looking at around 75p.
For those with a combi boiler power shower at 30kW, it’s around 63p for half an hour. Working out at around £240 a year.
Different showers can cost anywhere between 10p for 10 minutes, right the way up to over £1 for that same duration. It’s worth knowing what type of shower you have and how much it is costing you on average.
