The UK Bank Holidays 2024 list goes like this:

Substitute Days
There are no substitute days in the list of UK Bank Holidays 2024. Unlike the previous few years, everything falls during the working week. This means there are no weekend holidays which are then substituted to other days.
How To Make The Most Of Your Time Off
We spend so much of our time working. Enjoying some downtime with your friends, family and doing the things we love is important. The UK Bank Holidays 2024 fall nicely for us to use some of our annual leave to enjoy longer periods of time off work. By taking just 8 days of annual leave we can enjoy a full 16 days off work. That’s more than half a month away from the office! Simply book March 25th – 28th and April 2nd – 5th off work and because of the Bank Holidays you will leave the office on Friday 22nd March returning on Monday 8th April.
You can use a similar tactic with the UK Bank Holidays 2024 that fall in May. This will give you nine days off work by only using four of your holiday days. Simply book the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off after the Bank Holiday! This works with the Summer Bank Holiday as well.
For Christmas and New Year, enjoy the festive break uninterrupted by booking 7 days off and enjoying 16 days out of the office. Book the 23rd, 24th, 27th, 30th and 31st December followed by 2nd and 3rd January. With weekends, this will give you a full stretch of time off, as you leave the office on Friday 20th December and return on 6th January 2025!
