I can’t quite believe Christmas is on the horizon once again. The year has flown by, memories have been made and the festivities are almost upon us. I love putting together my annual Christmas gift guide blog and working with brilliant brands; this year is no different. Check out the great ideas below and get ready for a fabulous festive season like no other.
Natural Products For Presents
Many of us are now looking into the ingredients of what we put on our skin and in our bodies. Choosing organic or natural products is a great way to show your love and care for friends and family. If you are seeking out natural skincare options for Christmas gifts, I’ve got a great brand for you. I was lucky enough to be sent a pot of Jekyll and Hyde Natural Beard Balm. It’s great on your beard and the fact it is natural is fantastic. Wonderful branding that your loved ones will appreciate, along with a brilliant product that really works. There is a full range of Edinburgh Skincare products to choose from. Take a look and maybe buy something for yourself, along with a gift to place under the tree.

Gift A Better Night’s Sleep
How about a gift that could improve someone’s life? Do you know someone who struggles to sleep? Maybe some new parents who are awake at night more than they are asleep. Perhaps it’s simply that you haven’t changed your mattress in the recommended 6-8 years and you could do with some actual support for your spine. For a better night of sleep, turn to Simba. This is advanced tech with award-winning comfort. With so many products available that will aid a more restful night, this could be the perfect company to shop with this Christmas.
As part of this year’s Christmas gift guide blog, I’ve partnered with Simba to give away a Hybrid Original Mattress in the size of the winner’s choice.

Anything But Ordinary
Back to the Christmas gift guide blog. Millions of pairs of socks are gifted at Christmas time. There is often a funny story or tradition with Christmas socks, but they don’t have to be boring, mundane or frowned upon. Established back in 2013, That Socks entered the market offering Odd Socks For Odd Folk. Mismatched socks with fantastic designs. They even have a subscription service you can sign up your loved ones for. If you’re looking at alternative socks for Christmas gifts, you can shop with That Socks over at notonthehighstreet.
Reuse & Recycle
Have you thought about gifting items that are second-hand? Keeping stuff out of landfill and reusing things that would otherwise go to waste is a great way to think about your gifting this year. There are some amazing companies doing wonderful things in this sector, one of them being We Buy Bricks. They have an amazing product available that kids (& adults!) of all ages will love! It’s called the Build-it-Box and it’s just £19.99. Give the gift of creativity with this unique, one-of-a-kind kit. Made up of about 700 genuine LEGO® pieces (all of which have been properly cleaned and sanitised), the kits contain at least 2 Minifigures along with a brick separator. We’re thinking of all the fun Christmas Day Lego build challenges! What will your loved ones be able to create from their kit?

Sustainability is important and I wanted to add an extra bit onto this year’s Christmas gift guide blog. Another great way to save money whilst recycling and keeping items out of landfill is by looking in your local charity shops. There are loads of great second hand and brand new items that will go down a treat this Christmas time. You’ll be surprised at just what you can find and the price of them too. Some of the best and cheapest gifts you can find in charity shops! Not only that, the money you pay will go into good causes in your local area. There is something quite brilliant about giving back at Christmas time!
Screen Free Fun
One of the best products we’ve bought in the last few years has most definitely been a Toniebox. If you aren’t sure what one of these is, it’s a screen-free portable audio player, for music, storytelling and learning. Available in a range of colours, children will love being able to put on their favourite content by simply placing a character on top of the box. You’ll discover loads of favourites, including Paddington, Peter Rabbit and The Gruffalo. The company has recently introduced Book Pocket Tonies for longer adventures from authors including Enid Blyton and Tom Fletcher. Content can also be downloaded from the Tonies app to Creative-Tonies, or upload your own stories for kids to listen to at bedtime, or anytime!
Get £15 off your Toniebox this Christmas, by using code rf3-kle-v6c-gm0.
Boredom Busting Board Games
There is something absolutely magical about getting a board game out of the cupboard at Christmas time. There are so many classics we can choose from but have you thought about getting a new one and starting a new tradition? With so many on the market, picking some great ones can be hard but I’ve found two for you.
Firstly, the frantic throwing, fish flapping, order-filling game that is Order UP: Fish Market. Work as a team to complete as many orders as possible before the clock counts down. Aimed at those aged 8+, can your team earn the status of Master Fishmonger?
There will be plenty of laughs with Feeder Frenzy: Flying Squirrels. Race to release the nuts from the feeder by flinging your sticky squirrels at the targets. This game is suitable for ages 6+ so for our family it’s ideal. Once the nuttiest squirrel is declared the winner, refill the birdfeeder and start the game all over again.

Earn When You Shop
One of the best ways to save money this Christmas is by earning cash when you spend it. Have you signed up with Complete Savings yet? If you haven’t, joining before Christmas spending is a great idea. You’ll get a welcome bonus, a monthly bonus, plus the opportunity to earn a minimum of 10% cashback when you buy with top retailers.
On top of that, you can get 20% off Gift Cards. This is perfect for not only gifting to loved ones this festive season but also if you know where you will do your Christmas food shop! There are 1000+ retailers that you can earn cashback with. These include Adidas, Calendar Club, Superdrug, Harvey Nichols, Mitre and Nintendo eShop.
It’s worth noting that you get a free month trial, after which you’ll be met with a monthly fee. However, this fee can be well worth paying when you look at the amount of cashback you can earn each month. Be sure to check out Complete Savings before you spend money this festive season.
Final Thoughts
There are loads of great gifts out there, you just have to look and think about the person you are wanting to buy for. Some of the best gifts don’t cost any (or very little!) money at all. Time spent together is a wonderful thing and if you’ve not seen someone for a while, you know, for that proper dedicated time together, maybe a coffee voucher and a couple of hours scheduled into the diary is much better than another toiletries bundle that is just going to get left on the bathroom shelf.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this year’s Christmas gift guide blog. Make your money stretch further this Christmas whilst enjoying quality over quantity – both in terms of the gifts we give and the time we spend. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
